TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984
Notice is hereby given that Oxfordshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, intends to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order as detailed below:
Nature of Restriction: Road Closure
Location: Stoke Talmage Road and the Road Between Manor Farm and Lower Farm,
Wheatfield/Tetsworth/Stoke Talmage, Thame, Oxfordshire. From the junction with the A40 to the junction with the Access Road To Stoke Talmage.
Description of Works: Road closure to facilitate the installation of new positive drainage assets (including road gullies, catchpits, associated pipework, ditching and headwalls) being carried out by MGroup Transport.

Duration: Starting on 09/11/2026 00:00
The anticipated completion date is 04/12/2026 23:59 (inclusive)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders have a maximum duration of 18 months, or 6 months for footpaths, bridleways, cycle tracks and byways that are open to all traffic).
Access: Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for properties within the closed section of road where reasonably practicable.
Suggested Alternative Route: Diversion via A40, Oakley Road, Watlington Road, Shirburn Street, Brook Street, Cuxham Road, Road Between Cuxham And Chalgrove, Watlington Road, Road Between Cuttmill Bridge Cottage And The Easington Turn, Clare Hill, Road Between Clare And Stoke Talmage and vice versa.
