The Council:
Tetsworth Parish Council consists of 6 elected councillors whose details together with those of the Clerk and the Parish’s District and County Councillors can be found on our home page.
Responsibilities: The Parish Council is responsible for the following local services:
Setting and managing the Parish Precept.
Authorising grants and local expenditure.
Providing Allotments.
Maintaining owned green spaces and trees.
Maintaining the War Memorial Garden.
Maintaining the PATCH play area and the adjacent skate ramp and adult gym equipment.
Making recommendations on Planning Applications.
Arranging the Annual Parish Meeting.
Monitoring the applicability of its Neighbourhood Development Plan and updating it as required.
The Council also encourages residents to volunteer for community roles such as Footpath Warden, and has an agreement with the Free Range Foxes Forest School which operates on Council-owned land.
Meetings
The Council meets 11 times a year at 7:30pm on the second Monday of the month every month except August in Tetsworth Memorial Hall. Members of the public are welcome and may submit questions for discussion with due notice. The Agenda for the next meeting is published 3 working days days before the meeting and can be found via the home page.

Finance
The Council’s Budget, record of expenditure and Annual Accounts which are subject to Audit are public documents which can be accessed on the finance page as can the Transparency Code for smaller councils.
